MediaWiki – saving template content sometimes results in 502 Server Error

Created by: andreasplank

Expected Behavior

Altering a page and saving the content, the page shoul show the present rendered page content

Current Behavior

I changed just one “!” in template:Literatur (Diff View on wiki.opensourceecology.de) ;-) and oops ... the results was a 502 Server Error (but the content was saved)

Possible Solution

Checking Server logs and go from there. (I try to look into it from time to time)

Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)

  • perhaps change a template that is nested in another template
  • maybe related 500 Error https://wiki.opensourceecology.de/Spezial:Kategorien
